I work on how news moves online.I’ve spent the last 20+ years in local journalism, helping newsrooms adapt to the internet as it keeps changing the rules. Today, I lead digital strategy for a major local news organization, spanning web, social, video, newsletters, alerts, and streaming.Most of my work sits at the intersection of people, systems, and platforms: building workflows that scale, using analytics without letting metrics drive the room, and making it easier for journalists to do good work under real deadlines.I’ve launched digital products, grown large audiences, led teams through breaking news, and partnered closely with product and revenue to keep the operation sustainable.Based in St. Louis.
